At 5 years old I watched my first musical, Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella. I spent all day picking out my dress and getting my hair just right. The time finally came. We walked in, took our seats, and from the moment that curtain opened, the theatre had my heart.
Skip a lot of years and I go to college! I graduated from MTSU, majoring in theatre with a minor in musical theatre. I got to be a part of so many wonderful shows during my time there, but some of my favorite credits include Our Town (Stage Manager), Eurydice (Eurydice), and The Tempest (Sebastian). While in school I got to perform alongside MTSU’s incredible jazz bands, compete in acting and musical theatre competitions at KCACTF, and take intensive independent studies for dramaturgy.
With all of my theatre endeavors, I aim to tell stories that honor my five-year-old self and promote the power and joy that come from everyone’s unique creativity.
